Just outside Paris lies the gallows of Montfaucon where dead criminal bodies are deposited. Piles of skeletons lie embracing each other, but amongst them there lie two skeletons separated from the rest. There is one of a woman, with a few scraps of dress which was once white and a little bag around her neck decorated with green beads. The hangman thought it useless to take the bag due to its little worth. The interesting thing is of a second skeleton with its arms tightly wrapped around the former. This second skeleton is the remnants of Quasimodo who thought it wise to go wherever Esmeralda went. As he saw Esmeralda was killed he thought it wise to kill himself too.

Quasimodo has led a life full of tregedies. He tried to defend his beloved cathedral but the vagabonds eventually succeeded in ruining its facade. He lost the only man he loved, Dom Claude Frollo. Quasimodo's skeleton can be found in here but upon thouch these fragmants pulverize to fine dust. This bond can never be broken as Quasimodo will never break free.
