King Loius XI proclaims only certain things befit the king and the only royalty deserves certain luxuries. He claims "Our dogs must be lions and our cats tigers."

A recent matter was presented to the king about the issue of the vagabonds attacking the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. He thought it was the Bailiff of the Palace of Justice they were attacking. Since the bailiff and the king do note get along very well, the king says he will send help to the bailiff tomorrow morning, which his men realized was very late. Although Olivier le Daim figured out what he thought was a misunderstanding by the king and asked the king to send help promptly, the king did not change his mind as he was intrigued by the thought of the bailiff's property.

The king does not appreciate the fact that others are trying to make decisions for him as he believes there should only be one king making decisions and everyone else should admit their inferiority to the king and stop making decisions. He claims that since there is only one god there should be one king.
